      Hi all,

I have a pi 4 running emulation station and installed the Kodi Port so I could stream my movies to smart phone. So far Kodi works well and Kore allows me to power off the Pi just fine. But the streaming isn't working when I select to play locally on Kore. It says it is playing but there is no video or audio on Kore just a small banner at the bottom of the screen. I tried updating everything but still no luck. Any suggestions would be amazing. Screenshot_20220712-095913-338.png

from a cursory google search Kore seems to be a remote control app for kodi. I don't think it is supposed to show you any video - you just use it to act as a remote control for your kodi device (which in this case is the pi, showing video on the attached screen).

in any case, this seems to be a kore support issue, not a retropie one. kore isn't part of retropie.
