      I was wondering if there is a way to tie two devices into one port. What I am trying to do is set up a my Sinden light gun and also use an USB pedal to use with Time Crisis

      The Sinden Light gun is set up just fine, but I am unable to use the USB pedal. I am getting the error below.

      Is this possible to tie two devices into one port and use the USB pedal? Or is there another way to achieve what I am trying to do?

        configure the foot switch in emulation station to map the buttons. then in retroarch options (hotkey Y) and go to controller configs and set them both to control payer 1

          I may need a little more detailed instructions. Here is how I attempted to setup the usb pedal device

          1. I put the device in one of the usbs
          2. then on a separate controller i went into the emulationstation main menu by pressing start menu and setup the controller.
          3. Selected Configure Input
          4. Then pressed the pedal until emulationstation asked to input the key.
          5. Pressed the pedal and it assigned a key, then ignored all the rest of the buttons
          6. Select OK

          This is where I may need more detailed instruction on where to go in retroarch.

            @psun03 in retroarch, go to quick menu, controls, select the whatever controller that needs to be changed, maybe both. but Not sure if they will be player 1, 2, 3 ect........ all depends how they are plugged in, and changed the mapped port to player one. then from there both are acting as a player one device. You might have to remap the buttons to get the proper effect, but you can do that from there too.
            Make sure to only do these changes while the game that needs it is running and save the changes to that game and not the core.

              When I am in the quick menu and go to controls, I don't see the controller. I see Port 1 Controls, Port 2 Controls, Port 3 Controls, etc. I don't see where I can select a controller and assign it to a port. screenshots and pictures would be helpful if possible.

                @psun03 read https://www.reddit.com/r/RetroArch/comments/szlxkz/i_want_2_controllers_active_on_port_1/

                A somehow recent version of retroarch is required, so make sure you are using the latest version available on retropie.
