      Hello,
I apologize if there are instructions but I couldn't find a post. So if you know of it please link it for me.
I have a friend who gave me a copy of his retropie image for raspberry pi 4. I was going to buy one but the prices are crazy. Everyone is over pricing or there out. I have a old Dell optiplex 7060. So i installed Ubuntu and the retropie. I know how to copy the roms but how do I get his custom things like the configuration and images and whatever else I would need? Coping over the each folder didn't work. I got errors.
      Thanks in advance

Artwork and metadata are stored in $HOME/.emulationstation/gamelists/ $HOME/.emulationstation/downloaded_media, you may need to copy them from the source installation to your Ubuntu install.
