Does anyone know of any action puzzle games for arcade, that are in the same vein as Adventures of Lolo on NES

or Mole Mania on Game Boy?

Alternatively, something like Kwirk or Goof Troop would also be great.

I already know of / have games like Evil Stone (evilston), Gogo Mile Smile (gogomile) and Solomon's Key (solomon), but I just can't seem to find (m)any arcade games with the same overall feel as those in the videos above.

The only ones I could really think of, are Boxy Boy (boxyboy) and Pushman (pushman).

And yeah, I realize coin-op games aren't designed for longer sessions like those console examples, but maybe some arcade librarians on here might still know of a hidden gem or two... Looking forward to any and all insight!

@windg Ah yes, Meikyo jima! Forgot about that one. I know it as Kickle Cubicle (it's also on the NES). That's the type of game I'm looking for, thanks.

@WeirdH I am not sure what counts as Action Puzzle to you (in example I don't see any puzzle element in Evil Stone). But here are two less known games for the Arcade I found about recently: Shocking (shocking) and Exvania (exvania), plus depending on the genre definition following two: Fortress 2 Blue Arcade (fort2b) and Joinem (joinem).

one i like that looks similar to these is repton on the bbc micro. no idea what the state of bbc emulation is on retropie’s these days though.

the puzzles get pretty wild in later levels. the chess community took a shine to it at one point.
