Using an RPi 3B+, aftermarket 5V 2A power supply, had roms copied over SSH.

After I performed an update to all packages, i noticed that when I booted up a PSX game, there was about a quarter of a second between when the button was pressed and when action occured on the screen. Is there any way this can be fixed? I'm a noob when it comes to Linux so I don't have a clue. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Edit: I'm also using an Xbox One controller via Bluetooth.

Can you try updating the pcsx-rearmed core from source and see if the input lag is still present ?
Also, add some info about what version of RetroPie and how you installed it, as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

@mitu My apologies, I forgot about that. I'm using version 4.8.2, made from an official image on a 64GB SD card. And I will try updating from source right now.

Didn't seem to have very much effect.

Do you have the bios files for the pcsxrearmed?

My English isn't at a good level.

@windg If you mean SPCH-1001.bin, then yes.

could be the issue. do you get any voltage warnings (lightning bolt symbol) in corner of the screen?
