I noticed that dreamcast-games became some kind of unstable to load.
They fall back to the ES-Gamelist randomly when i start them in the ES-Gameslist.
This can happen on the first try loading a DC-Game, but also after 20 succeful loadings (?), so there is no system/structure.
After restarting ES they work fine again (??)

Here is the verbose-log of the last time this happened - yesterday evening with "Silent Scope":

Thanks in advance for taking a look! ;)

Do you have the same issue if you don't use .chd files?

My English isn't at a good level.

@windg i am not sure as i only have 2-3 games in *.cdi (english patched Japan-Games which dont exist in CHD).
Do you think the issue is concerned with the CHDs?
I did not have this fallbacks before the Update to Retroarch 1.12.0, never had problems with chds before :/

I am not sure, but it is good to test it, so you can exclude this possibility and get closer to the real issue.

@windg this wont be easy as the issue pops up randomly.
I could try to start *.cdi-files dozens of times and if they dont crash they might be not affected.
I wont change to another file-format in the end, i would likely restart ES and keep using chds :)

One change in 1.12 is that CHDs are supported by RetroAchievements - you can try disabling cheevos and see if that affects the behavior.

Your log file shows an error regarding a core .info file being corrupt/incomplete. Try updating RetroArch again so that core .info files are re-downloaded.

@mitu thank you very much once again!
I updated RA yesterday, but will do again.
Strange that this .info-file gets corrupt sometimes and by far more often it has to be ok (Ratio Games load: Games do not = 8:2).

                  Thank you sir!

FYI: RetroArch has been updated once more to 1.13.0 (visible in changelog, not on the homepage)
