      Re: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/30043/wince-games-on-redream/21

What is the latest? The last binary i can download is from 2020. Is there a way to download from a source or a later binary that supports WINCE?

I'm very confused on how to get the latest Redream build that supports WiNCE somewhat.

      be well all!

RetroPie-Setup always installs the latest Redream build available - which version of RetroPie are you using ? Are you using the official RetroPie image or a 3rd party build ?

sidenote: my experience with WinCE-Games under Dreamcast-Emulation using a Pi(4) showed that these games seem to request more performance.
Only "Virtua Cop 2" was playable, all other games run similar to N64 on a Pi2.
So you may be dissapointed @duglor, even if you get the WinCE-Games to start up.

@sirhenrythe5th @mitu Well the last official binary build is from 2020, I believe. The WINCE support is from a beta that some people have. I was asking how they have it ;)

@duglor The latest version of redream is from May 2022. The RetroPie script downloads that version. I just tested myself right now. It also matches the date from the binary available from redream website: https://redream.io/download

Of course, this is with the official version of RetroPie. It's impossible to help you or anyone that can't click on the link on the top of the page and follow the directions listed there.

No, it's not - as @Darksavior also noted. That's why I asked you for your version of RetroPie and installation method.

@mitu I went to the redream site and downloaded it and placed it in the opt/emulator/dreamcast folder and it works great.

My system is still 4.7 which is probably why it doesn't show a redream binary after 2020 available. Anyway, the workaround fixed it. Thanks for your help guys.
