      Hi,

I want to optimize graphics (for a 4K tv).
I've read the best shaders is mega Bezel. I've download it and put in /home/USER/.config /retroarch/shaders/.
I want to load this shader for psx (in a first time, i've "dots" on the screen (tony hawk 2) and after on all emulators !) , but i've an error (can't load presets shaders).
What is the best conf for this ?

      cpu : Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-7100U CPU
      ram : 16Go
GPU : intel integrated (Intel(R) HD Graphics 620)
      OS : debian 11

ps : i've set vulkan as video's driver, i've reas it is better than opengl

      Regards,

You may need to download the slang shaders for RetroArch, RetroPie only installs the glsl shaders. Copy then to $HOME/.config/retroach/shaders/slang and maybe add the Mega Bezel shaders into the same dir.

Using glcore or vulkan will make use of the slang shaders, I assume the Mega Bezel pack uses the slang shaders. If you still get errors, post a verbose runcommand log and we'll see what's going on.

          @mitu Thanks for reply !

If i watch into my path, i have another shaders but not the slang ones.
I'll try to git clone the slang repository and try !
(i've seeing the xbrz shaders are nice too !)

edit : i've git clone https://github.com/libretro/slang-shaders, the path is slang or slang-shaders in the .config /retroarch/shaders ?

edit2 : if i do an online uptime, shaders are downloaded in $HOME/.config/retroarch/shaders/shaders_slang

I think i can choose the path, slang or shaders_slang will be ok, no ?

Can i assign a shaders for all emulators or have i to assign individually ?

I think either one is fine, the folder hierarchy beneath it should be preserved, since the presets reference individual shaders from it.

Can i assign a shaders for all emulators or have i to assign individually ?

You can assign per-core/folder/game/general, just save with the corresponding option from the Shaders menu - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Shaders-and-Smoothing/#installation.
