Software Failure error message

Trying to get Premier Manager 3 to run on Amiberry.
Using Workbench 1.3 rev 34.5, and I have a few copies of the game, as well as an archived protection wheel.
Some versions start the game, allow me to enter my player name and select the club to manage, click "Start Game" and enter the protection wheel value. It starts to do more loading, before erroring with:

Other versions of the game do not load, with a never-ending loop of coloured fullscreens.
I have tried Workbench 3.1, but this never boots the game.
