Invalid user/password combination retroachievements
-
So there is a resolution for this. But I may have to do this via command line. This seems to be the resolution.
Locate these lines in retroarch.cfg:
cheevos_username
cheevos_password-
Make sure both username and password are correct.
-
Once you have checked this delete the line cheevos_token and save the file.
-
Start Retroarch and enjoy the achievements again.
I am trying to find this directory using WinSCP. I was unable to locate this directory. Can someone advise on how to accomplish this?
I am not great with command line, and I am trying not to ruin what I have done has it would take me hours to restore this.

The location of the file is explained in https://retropie.org.uk/docs/RetroAchievements/ - it's in
/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg
. The same file can be accessed over file shares at\\retropie\configs\all\retroarch.cfg
if you wish to edit it from a PC.
