Good morning. I wonder if anybody knows how to use the Master System Pause button in lr-genesis-plus-gx.

As I'm sure you know, the Master System controller only had 2 buttons and a d-pad on the controller , the light phaser had fewer inputs with only the trigger, so to pause a game a user would press the Pause button which was on the console itself, not on any controller.

I have come across a couple of homebrew games that have options locked behind the pause button (e.g. a lightgun calibration, or an input device selection) and I can't find a way to use the console pause button. I would appreciate any insight.

I am using a Raspberry Pi 4B running Retropie and Retroarch 1.10.0. I've updated lr-genesis-plus-gx to the latest binary (1.7.4).

      Thank you.

I found the answer, and it was the most obvious, of course.
The SMS pause button is configured as the Port 1 Start button in retroarch, so whatever input I bin to Port1 Start does the job. Fortunately this still works if I have the input type as Light Phaser.
