tapdra image plzzzzzzzzzzz help a newbie controllers not working

just bought a pi 4 comes complete with a 128gb card with tapdra image it boot up to screen ect but ive attached a keyboard and nothing works it was bought of amazon bundled with the cheap nasty snes controllers these also do nothing at all ive tried another keyboard but nothing any help plzzzzzz
