Emulationstation - Mapping MouseClick1 and MouseClick2 to inputs in the emulationstion menu?

Pi 4b (think it's 2gb)
Emulationstation V2.10-3rp
Retropie v4.8
Controller:- keyboard/mouse/8bitdo m30/Dolphin BarI've had a lot of fun last few days getting the Dolphin bar setup on Retropie, playing HOTD2, Terminator2 etc, Time Crisis etc. It's an absolute blast.
One thing I notice though, the mode of the DolphinBar (Mode 2) maps the wiimote to keyboard keys, mouse movement and mouse clicks. A and B on the wiimote are Mouseclick1 and 2 respectively.
I was trying to figure out within es_input or elsewhere if there's a way to map the mouse clicks to East button (B) and South button (A) within emulation station only? I've got it all sorted in retroarch itself, as you can map mouse clicks but oddly you can't from the GUI in emulationstation

There's no mouse support (for input) in EmulationStation.

@retropieuser555, now you can with the dbar4gun driver.

now you can with the dbar4gun driver.
How exactly would that work ? EmulationStation still doesn't support mouse inputs.

@mitu, The driver is different and remaps to keyboard buttons that are supported by EmulationStation, and it also allows you to use more than one Wiimote at the same time. This lets you navigate through the EmulationStation menu using only the Wiimote.

Not sure if I understand - it's not actually 'mapping' to a Mouse click, but just emitting keyboard events for the same physical input ?
-
@mitu, No, it's just that the button mapping is different. For example, if you use dbar4gun with a Wiimote connected via Bluetooth or through a DolphinBar, the directions on the Wiimote and the A button will be mapped to specific keys on the keyboard. All the mappings are detailed in the table I sent earlier.
