How do i get the 3DO Mouse working in lr-Opera?

Hi. If i set the controller to 3DO Mouse and then the mouse doesn't respond, is there another step somewhere that i have missed to get it going? I'm trying to use it in Cannon Fodder 3DO.
If that's not possible, I guess I can use the joypad.

@duglor I'm not sure that game supports a mouse.
