Re: [Games does not launch](goes back to ES menu.)

      Hello Dear Friends,

When I am trying to open a game in ES, it does not open it and come back to the game selection window again.

I added FBNeo Non-Merged Arcade games (some of them), and this is the, dev/shm/runcommand.log:

      Parameters:
      Executing: SDL_VIDEO_KMSDRM_CRTCID=87 SDL_VIDEO_KMSDRM_MODEID=1 /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-mame2003/mame2003_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/arcade/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/arcade/1945kiii.zip" --appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg

      Could you please help me?

      Pi Model: 3+
      Power Supply used: Pi Original
      RetroPie Version: 4.8.5
      Built From: Raspbian GNU/Linux10
      Emulator: FBNeo

      Kind Regards.

@basarb said in ES does not open Game:

        I added FBNeo Non-Merged Arcade
        ...
        Executing: (...)/lr-mame2003/mame2003_libretro.so(...)
        ...
        Emulator: FBNeo

You need to set it to use the FBNeo core, it's still trying to use MAME-2003.

@basarb you can set that in the runcommand launch menu:

                @sleve_mcdichael

This time, I have another issue:

My ES does not open the game claiming there is no rom file for it, but I am totally sure that there is.
You can find the log records below attached for MSlug for example.
I almost got same error for the games in FB Neo Arcade directory even I fixed the emulator choice above.
                I load Full Non-Merged set.
                Could you please help me?

                Parameters:
                Executing: /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-fbneo/fbneo_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/arcade/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/arcade/mslug.zip" --appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg

@basarb Please generate a verbose log, which will show more information about what's going on than that brief one does, then upload its contents to pastebin.com and share that link here.
