Having trouble getting StarCraft working with sound
-
Hello everyone. I'm having trouble getting StarCraft (from RetroPie Setup>Manage Packages>Manage Experimental Packages>Ports>Starcraft). working with sound. The main campaign seems to launch without issue. I get to create the barracks and send out the marines and mechs to gather materials. I have attempted to increase the music and sound using F10 to go to the menu and moving the bars to the right for each.
I have also included my runcommand.log that was created the last time I attempted to launch it:
If anyone has ideas on what I could do to fix this problem, please let me know. Thank you.

it will help to also post what device you are on and what os you are running.
That way people know what you are dealing with

Thanks ExarKunIv. I'm using a Pi 4B with 4 GB of ram (64 bit) and the OS is Linux 5.10.17-v8+ aarch64 Raspbian. If anyone has ideas of what configurations or settings that should be adjusted, please let me know. Thanks. :-).

@sleve_mcdichael ExarKunlv and I tried to get this to run with sound, but we were at a stalemate for a solution. Well, we did agree that it would possibly work on my Pi 3B+, but if you think you might have the time or any ideas for a 4B+ workaround, please let me know. Thank you guys. :-)

@Striderx99 I haven't installed the starcraft module yet but I might check it out soon.

@Striderx99 so I installed
starcraft.sh
and the sound just worked right out the box on my Pi 4. I suppose it's likely your aarch64 that's tripping you up, but I've no experience with that... -
@sleve_mcdichael that's been my thought all along.
I could be wrong but I think the 64bit version has different audio drivers then buster 10. And since StarCraft is a compiled program made specifically for buster so the chance of something not working is there
