      I'm finishing up a RetroPie setup on a Pi4 for a friend as a gift and the Coleco games won't work because "Romset is unknown". The RetroPIe is only using the FBNEO emulator for Coleco now apparently. I searched a bit on how to make/add a romset with no luck. The next best thing I can think to do is use the lr-blueMSX but I'm not sure what exactly to download and put where(I located all the other emulators in the "libretrocores" subfolder under "opt - retropie - libretrocores". Has anyone dealt with this before? Thanks.

        Not quite. fbneo is one of the emulators supporting Colecovision, but there's also coolcv and - as you noticed - blueMSX. Technically openMSX also supports Colecovision, but it's not configured as such in RetroPie.

        fbneo expects rom names to be in a certain format - .zip and names according to this dat file. The reason you're getting the error message is because of the mismatch in filename/extension.

        For blueMSX, once you install it, it should work as an alternative emulator for the coleco system games and you can choose it in the runcommand launch menu as default emulator for that system. See https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Colecovision/ for the BIOS file(s) needed.

          @mitu

          https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Colecovision/ sends me to

          https://github.com/libretro/blueMSX-libretro and then

          https://sourceforge.net/p/bluemsx/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/blueMSX/Make/blueMSXlite/

          and I'm getting lost at the moment. I'm going to have another go at all this when I'm not so tired. Thank you for the pointers, much appreciated.
