Re: Retropie - No space left on device

      Raspberry Pi 4 model B 8gb
      Retropie Version is 4.8.6
      Charger from Raspberry Pi
SD Card ist a SanDisk Ultra 32GB
I also use for my Roms and BIOS a Intenso Ali Line USB device.

But Now to my Problem. There appears this massege: "mkdir: cannot create directory #/tmp/retroarche: No space left on device"
But If I Look at my PC, there IT tells me I have at the Boot Partition 206 MB free and at the "normal" Partition 29,48GB left. Now I dont know where the Problem is. Hope for Help.

If by "PC" you mean Windows, then the 2nd ('normal') partition is not actually read by the OS, since it doesn't understand Linux partitions. 29,48Gb is very close to the 32Gb SD card capacity and it's probably the actual partition size, not how much free space is left on it.

I think you really have run out of space and need to delete some files from the RetroPie/Linux partition in order to be able to play games.

You can use the File Manager in the RetroPie system to browse any folder on the system, but not sure why going to the /tmp folder would help.

The partition is full, not just one specific folder.

Did you add some roms/games files recently ? You can delete some of the existing ones that take a lot of space.

PPSSPP doesn't need any BIOS. Regardless, you should clear some space on the partition, otherwise you'll get the same error again.

@Brokenbalon Skyscraper keeps a cache of scraped resources and this can gobble up space, especially if you scraped videos. You can clear that cache from the scraping menu in RetroPie, but that should be done after you've finished scraping a system (or more).

No, you delete the Skyscraper Cache. See the menu at https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Scraper/#using-skyscraper, under the Cache options and commands menu.
