Been a long while since I last posted a question here. Hope everyone is doing well :)

Anyone use Kodi or other Ports within RetroPie? If so, perhaps this issue rings a bell and you can help...
The Ports menu disappears when I boot with my USB ROMs stick plugged in.

Is this because I installed ports like Kodi, Doom, etc while my USB was not plugged in? Should I uninstall any ports and install again with the USB connected? Any other possible fixes?

This particular build is the latest RetroPie 4.8 and on a Pi3b+ with no overclock and a good power supply. Everything operates fine outside this little quirk.

Overall, I'm trying to get a nice build with some game systems (via ROMs on USB of) alongside a handful of installed ports.

I believe I saw instructions for getting Kodi to appear as a system itself, living outside the Ports menu (I haven't tried that yet), but in this case I simply want the Ports menu and USB ROM driven systems to appear at the same time.

      Thanks :)

@ohmycommodore Yes, because you install the packages without the usb they doesn't appear. Their shortcuts are in the sd card. Plugging the usb and reinstall the apps.

My English isn't at a good level.
