@MISTERHOLLYW00D go to /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg and scroll down to the psx section and remove .bin and .Bin from <extension> and save. then i would copy it to /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/ so if you do any updates you dont have to redo it again

          Please read this:
          https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Playstation-1

It should show .cue by default - it wont display .bin files.

Please read the Docs before asking a new question.

I'm having the same issue having just updated to retropie 4. es_systems.cfg doesn't have .bin or .BIN listed in the file extensions as suggested above, but in emulation station they still show! Psx game folder has .bin , .cue , and .srm for each game . Proper head scratcher as to how I can get the duplicates to disappear....any ideas? Same things happening with my Sega CD games too.

              AHA! Think I've fixed it.

Find the gamelist .xml file for psx, delete it, then rescrape the game data.
