Weird behaviour with a Arduino Atmega32 Controller
-
Hi all,
I have a weird issue with the controller I have put together using Arduino and an Atmega32 controller board.
The buttons all work well in the game but I have to unplug and replug it in for the controller to be recognised in the mame game i'm using.
Also another weird quirk is that sometimes the Retropie menu moves left and right on its own like in this video
[link text]https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UMZlJoy7EsIO91KzJIkunKqj49Bl-Hf4/view?usp=drive_link(link url)I've tried 2 different arduino boards, on 2 different Raspberry Pis and have simplified the code which leads me to believe Retro Pi doesn't like these controller boards.
Anyone have any ideas before I throw in the towel and buy an I-Pac?

@drog1998 I use an Arduino Leonardo (Atmega32 chip) to connect an Amiga keyboard to my Raspberry PI. It works very well, no bug at all. I never have to unplug and replug for instance. I use it with every emulator of computers.
I use a self-powered hub to connect it to my Raspberry Pi 4 (actually, every USB thing is connected to this self-powered USB hub in my configuration).
