NESPi with SafeShutdown. Preloaded Retropie MicroSD card. Where and how do I install Safe shut down script?
-
Hey so Grandma got my son a NESPi case, Raspberry Pi 4 and a retropie SD card (with my help). I am haveing trouble figuring out how to install the "safetshutdown script" with a retropie sd card that just boots up retropie.
I have searched the web, youtube, and all the instructions and I cannot figure this out. I am sure its easy, but cant see where to load it in options, cant get to a bios or raspberry pi os screen. The manual says you can use the shutdown button if you installed the safe shutdown script properly, but does not tell you how to do that, which is why I am here.

Thanks sleve, if they are not supported, are the intstructions not for my scenario?
My retropi card says it is supported if you install it "properly" how do I accomplish that?
