Joystick module handheld games console

I'm making a handheld games console with a rasberry pi 5B 8gb ram, I'm trying to add analouge joysticks to controll the display and to use while playing games, form what I've read the rasberry pi 5 has no analouge inputs so I'm going to connect the joystick module to the pi pico and connect that to the pi 5, I'm having trouble finding the micro python code to be able to do this it would be very very highly appreciated of you, if you need more images or information feel free to ask, I did this as part of my computer science project and I've tried everything I know but it's not working, I've got about 3 weeks from posting this to the due date so if anyone can help please please do, thankyou.
