Libretro UAE

Did you know there is a fork of the awesome Chips UAE4ARM for Libretro?
https://github.com/r-type/uae4arm-libretroCant wait to see this make its way into Retropie!
This could enable loading of games from EmulationStation like other systems, and possibly more controller configuration options!
Using a joypad with Amiga games can be tricky at times, because most games expect a joystick and the up position is most often used for jump:
Has anyone tried uae4arm-libretro?

Hmmm, I would love to see a Libretro Amiga emulator in RetroPie.
-
Would love to give this a shot as well. Hope it's added to RetroPie soon even if it's on experimental stream.
-
It will be included for sure - is it in a working state yet ? I've not tested.
-
@BuZz doesn't look like it's in the official libretro organisation so I don't know how viable it is atm
-
Shame. Hopefully one day it will be an option as that would be awesome. Still my favourite system of all time.

True, Amiga Rulez ;)
looking forward for libretro version of uae4arm. it would be nice to master the amiga emulation on retropie (main purpose why i bought rpi ;) ).

I know this is an old thread, but just starting to look into Amiga emulation on my Pi3 and it looks to me like UAE4ARM is now officially part of libretro (https://github.com/libretro/uae4arm-libretro). Any chance this could get added to the setup script, or has anyone had any experience with it to advise any reason not to try it?
I installed libretro-puaue recently and it seems to work OK for the few games I have tested, but I found it has a big drop in frame rate when running many games as .hdf files instead of .adf files. Not sure if it's entirely due to my game config file settings or if uae4arm is more optimized but wanted to give it a shot.
