      I'm setting up a 3B+ system for a friend.
I've installed lr-mame2010 with the matching romsets and the games are working fine.
I scraped for artwork with the emulationstation scrapers and had mixed results.
I scraped with skyscraper and got nearly everything.
However, I have the videos saved on my backup drive and to save time I just copied the videos from there.
I double checked the gamelist, xml file for location and copied the files to home/pi/.emulationstation/downloaded_media/arcade/videos.
Then just as a double check, I ran the skyscraper gamelist builder a second time.
I also changed all the video names to include the extension mp4.

I'm using carbon as my theme and the videos for snes and atari2600 are showing the videos just fine.
All I'm getting in the video window under arcade is tv static.
While this is pretty funny, I'd like the videos to play correctly.

      Any suggestions?

Are you sure ? Because from the 2nd screenshot you posted it seems the video tags are just pointing to a path that ends with ., no extension present. For instance, you have:

        <video>/home/pi/.emulationstation/downloaded_media/arcade/videos/005.</video>
        ...
        <video>/home/pi/.emulationstation/downloaded_media/arcade/videos/1on1gov.</video>

Also, are the path names correct ? It seems that the .mp4 file is differently named than the ROMset name, e.g. 1on1gov.zip vs 1 on 1 Government-01.mp4.

You're right. I just picked a set of mp4 files and didn't look at them.
They are from a LaunchBox scraped set and have different file names.
I found the matching name set and it works just fine.

          Thank you.
