Hello, I'm really desperate for some help on a boot issue. A friend gifted me a Raspberry Pi 3 with Retropie emulator. It's worked great for years. Recently, I wanted to pay this kindness forward to a different friend. I purchased a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ and cloned my existing Micro SD card, which works perfectly in my original Pi 3. But when I try to use either the newly cloned SD card or my original SD card in the new Raspberry Pi 3 B+, neither boot (the red power light works but the green boot light never fires). My theory is that the Retropie boot files must need to be updated for the new hardware, but I'm not as versed in such matters and I can't find clear enough instructions. I truly apologize for any missing details/information, but I'm happy to supply any info I can to assist in resolution.

Anyone? Please? How do I update the Retropie emulator firmware/boot drive? Which specific files?

Do a full update of the system (RaspiOS) packages before cloning the installation, so that any kernel/firmware files are up-to-date.
