      Hiho,
      So i've upgraded today from 3.8 to 4.02 and have lost the Auto Saving i had set up. All was working well before the update. Each system has:

      savestate_auto_save = true
      savestate_auto_load = true

      in its config file and states are saved in the relevant ROM directory. Auto Load is still functioning from the saves prior to updating but if i delete them, it does not write a new one. If i quit out using the RGUI it seems to save both an AUTO and STATE file. Any light shed on this would be greatly appreciated.

      Regards,

      Grumbleduke.

        looks like it was recently fixed in retroarch - https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/issues/3432

        you could try updating retroarch (it's in the core packages) from source and see if that fixes it.

            Hiho,
            So thanks to dankcushions advice i fixed this issue for the most part. However, i've discovered i now cant auto load states in the Prodrive(7800) core. It seems to be auto saving for the most part but i always get the Auto Load Failed dialogue when booting a rom back up. I have tried going via the RGUI and although the dialogue doesn't say failed in this case, it just seems to load in the usual boot up state. I have the auto load/save commands set up in the 7800 config. Again it was working before updating to 4.02. As ever, any help would be greatly appreciated.

            Regards,
            Grumbleduke.
