Video Resolution Settings Question.
-
Whenever you start up a rom in Retropie you have the option to make setting changes at launch when hitting any button on the controller. Specifically the resolution settings is what my question applies to. I am curious where it stores this setting and how I can see what resolution exactly my roms are starting up at by default and what roms are starting at a custom setting. I can't seem to find where this setting is saved in the config files. Any help would be appreciated.

@silentq What specific emulator are you referring to ?

@silentq https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first
runcommand resolution configs are saved to
/opt/retropie/configs/all/videomodes.cfg

@BuZz thanks for the help thats exactly what I needed.

Actually sorry, I just went and looked for this file and I don't seem to have it? Is this because there is no existing launch command configs?
-
because you haven't set any per emulator/per rom video modes
-
Sorry to be annoying but is there a default for what resolution the emulators display out without anything set?

Ahh so it basically adjusts to your TV's resolution. Thanks for the info.
