Premade gamelists for emulators with fixed rom lists (MAME, FBA, etc.)

As emulators like MAME, FBA and GnGeo have fixed lists of supported games would it be possible for me to just import someone else's gamelist and images to save me doing it all myself manually?
If this is the case, has anyone made any complete gamelists with images for these emulators that could be shared?

I am not sure if is considered copyright infringement sharing cover art and images on this forum, otherwise i can share mines

I'd thought cover art might be copyright, but would screenshot images? It's a little murky but a names only list for FBA, MAME, etc would be really useful as a starting point at least.
I expect I'll likely just have to do things the long way, going through each each game, tidying those that don't get anything from the scraper.
