When I take the micro sd out of my Raspberry pi3 and pop it into my pc via a usb card reader my pc does not see much of its contents or its correct size. I want to copy the contents to another card so my friend's Pi3 will be ready to go, fully configured with roms sorted etc. Whats the best way to do this? I'm guessing my pc is only seeing one partition or something like that?

      thanks

      Kev

Yes Win32Image could work, but keep in mind the source and target card must have the same size (okay target sd card can be larger in flash size) :D

I wrote a small how-to long time ago, maybe it's helpfull in this situation ;)

And how to extract files? After Image file created (only in Windows)

I've cloned my 8gb to a 64gb with win32diskimager, after that you can expand the partition with easuspartitionmanager.
              It works great ;)
