I formatted my SD card with Retropie 3.8 to install 4.0.2 and used my flash drive to download all my the bios and roms/iso's including Dreamcast games on them that worked on RetroPie 3.8. Also missing is the ports that were pre-installed that worked on 3.8. I know 4.0 upgrade only shows the consoles that have roms/iso's in the folder, but the .cdi Dreamcast games don't appear as well as the console. They don't even show up when scrapping the games. Any thoughts?

@BuZz Thanks man! I will try this later but I'm sure this will work. I just installed 4.0 yesterday and didn't have time to read this fully. Thanks for the quick response.

I've installed ricast and have the 2 bios in bios, with two games in dreamcast folder and they're not booting. Any thoughts?

@unity_313 If it sheds any light on the subject, dreamcast is working fine for me on 4.0.2.

Did you update the retropie script before installing optional packages? I'm not sure if that matters but that's all I did to get it working.

@tehswiftone I'm going to go back and reformat the sd card reinstall 4.0. Leave the dreamcast bios but delete the games and update the scripts and then install ricast. I has trouble getting in working on 3.8 but finally got it running. Do it in the correct steps from the start instead of all over the place. Then I'll give you an update.

I've reinstalled 4.0.2, updated all scripts, installed reicast from optional packages and updated them, installed dc_boot.bin and dc_flash.bin, restarted system, and it still doesn't work. Not even the systemmanager, which ran by itself on 3.8. I seriously don't know where to go from here and I've seen other people commenting the same problem and others commenting it working so I assume it can work. I know 4.0 came out a month ago, so there's not that much info on it, but I really would appreciate any advice to get reicast working.

I'm really pretty embarrassed right now, but it was because I only had my wireless keyboard plugged in and not any gamepads. Hooked my snes controller in and it booted right up. Thanks for your help and I hope this will help others who have this problem.
