      Hello:

I have an older but working CRT monitor. It is a 21 inch I believe.

I have purchased off of eBay a HDMI to RCA converter. It works fine. It just converts the video. It was supposed to convert the audio as well but that never worked with this cheap converter device. Instead I used the audio jack out to get audio to the cabinets sound system.

I have the whole setup working.

When it is in a game it looks great.

When it is in emulation station it looks a tad faded and blurry.

Is there anything I should change on my RPi to get it to output something that might be a bit nicer to look at?

      Thank you,
      BC

A normal pi (not zero) supports analog over CVBS but its interlace so it will look shimmery.

I believe it may be possible to get it to output 25p over HDMI, convert to VGA, then convert to RGB on scart lead using a cable like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cable-VGA-RGB-ARCADEVGA-SCART-CON-JACK-SONIDO-EUROCONECTOR-JAMMA-ARCADE-/131577748414?hash=item1ea2a51bbe
