Duke Nukem 3D port not working

I installed the package for Duke Nukem 3D and rebooted. When I try to launch Duke Nukem 3D I get the following message │ Launching eduke32 ... │ │ │ │ Press a button to configure │ │ │ │ Errors are logged to /dev/shm/runcommand.log │ │ │ └──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘

BuZz, I read the posts and figured out that I have to press the A button to run Duke Nukem. BTW I am running Retropie on a VM with Linux Mint.
