I have created a portable pi (based on this guide), and overall I've got it working just fine. The controls are connected to GPIO pins, which in turn trigger keyboard events. The whole thing works quite well.

For N64, I had to lose a few C buttons, however (only 4 face buttons from an SNES controller), so I decided to map the X and A buttons to Cup and Cdown, and lose the left/right ones. This works just fine in Mario 64 and a few other games I've tried. However, when playing Shadows of the Empire, when I press the button mapped to B (Y normally on an SNES controller), it seems to press one of the C buttons as well, which throws the camera off. The game is playable except for this. I don't believe this is happening in all games (though maybe it's just not noticeable). Anyone have a suggestion as to why this is happening, and what I can do about it? Is there a way to show button presses on screen, to help me better diagnose the problem? Thanks!

(This seems to have posted to the wrong forum, could an admin please move to the Help and Support forum? Thanks!)

@bfenty if it is activating the unused c buttons try mapping those c buttons to non existing button numbers. (Like 20 and 21)
