I'd love to, but I am on the other side of the pond.

          Not this year.

I went a couple of years ago and it was big. Really Big.

Maybe a bit too big actually.

There were hundreds of arcade machines and retro gear free to play, but also a lot of modern stuff, and inexplicably long queues to see 'the latest' FPS games which were hidden from prying eyes by large boards, I didn't really understand why people were prepared to spend hours in a queue just to see a game the could buy off the shelf a few weeks later.

They also had a lot of modern-game team tournaments where the contestants entirely consisted of very sweary and aggressive 15 year old boys who should really get outside to play more to get rid of all that pent-up testosterone.

Personally I prefer Play Blackpool, which is a smaller and quieter affair, and usually takes place in May. But they don't usually have very many pinball machines at Blackpool.

          Maybe I'm just getting old!

Not to say Play Manchester was bad, it's worth going to see, and is the easily largest retro gaming event in the UK. Go across to the Trafford Centre for lunch though, unless you don't mind queuing for over an hour to pay a tenner for a limp and lukewarm greasy burger. (That's a criticism that goes for Blackpool too)

Could you live-stream from it via Youtube? Wrong side of the country :(

I guess I could try streaming on YouTube, not tried that from my phone before.

I spend most of my time on the arcades, but some of the traders are quite good as well as the cab sellers.
I do Blackpool as well although they are both a hell of a drive.

I like the look of sociable soccer so I might try that as well.
