      Hi all,
I have installed kodi so i can launch it from Emulation Station Menu.
It is working very well, but i have a little problem.
When i play an MKV file, Kodi correctly recognize both audio and subtitle stream language name (for example English - AC3 5.1) but when i play a BluRay ISO or a BluRay Folder, the video is played correctly, i can select all the audio and subtitles stream but the language name is not displayed, i see a list of audio stream named Unknown - DTS 5.1 Unknown - AC3 5.1 etc.
Before i've used OpenElec or OSMC and both was able to display stream language, but i don't know how to do it.
      Someone can help me ?

      Pi Model: Raspberry Pi3
RetroPie Version Used: 4.0.2 (After the update 4.0.5)
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: Wireless Keyboard, USB Pen Drive or Hard Drive

      Thank you in advance.

@MadHorse That depends on the metadata information of the file, not Kodi. I don't think there is options for that. Mostly likely that in OpenELEC and OSMC you used a bluray with that info and a bluray without that in RetroPie.

          thank you for your answer.
I thought the same thing at first, when the language and subtitles shows as unknown i installed OpenELEC 6.0.3 and tried the same blu ray folder movie.
On OpenELEC the language are displayed correctly, so the metadata is not the problem.

I have an idea of what it might be...

In OpenELEC, go into the Add-on section in Kodi and look to see which Add-ons are installed. I wonder if there's an extra Add-on that does this. If so then install that same Add-on in Kodi on RetroPie.

              Thank you for your help.
I thought that one too and it doesen't seems to be an addon that get the audio and subtitles stream language, but i have to admit i didn't compare deeply the addons installed on both.
              I will take another look.

Please post your Kodi log, to something like pastebin, after playing something with that behaviour. It would help if could also upload a sample of the bluray to somewhere and leave the link here for people to test it.

                  Hi all,

                  sorry for my late answer.
@backstander i've checked and it doesen't seems to be any relevant differences between the addons installed on OpenELEC and those on RetroPie.
@Rascas [Link removed] you can find a kodi.log after i played a Blu Ray ISO with the problem.
Anyway, i decided to create a dual boot SD with LibreELEC + RetroPie to bypass the problem and have the best of both world.

I would like to thank you all for you answers and help, i really appreciated.

                  Thank you.

Hmmm... the log should be with debug enabled, there isn't enough information in that log about the problem:
                    http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Easy

The only thing I can think off than can cause this, is the libbluray version.

@MadHorse Thanks, it is indeed because of libbluray more specifically BD-J support. I will compile also libbluray for the next Kodi version.
