Kodi problems on retropie
-
@DuckSalmon wait til kodi 17 is out and has joypad support fixed. Otherwise you'll run into issues unless you know what you're doing. The details on setting up kodi configs are on the kodi wiki page.

Thanks
I'll wait the next update
But how about my problem to play my video files on a USB drive?
Kodi seems to don't recognize or don't read my USB pen driveEdit: The USB drive can be open only for the First seconds after the plug it
-
@DuckSalmon If you can open the USB drive and than you "loose" it, it is most likely a power issue.
-
@Rascas is there a way to resolve this problem?
-
@DuckSalmon You have to check if your power supply has enough current (amperes) for everything that you have connected to the Pi. Does your usb hard drive has a sepparate power supply?
-
@Rascas is a USB pendrive
My raspberry now have plugged a USB keyboard , an USB Bluetooth dongle for my gamesir controller and this 8GB Pen driveNow i try with an another USB pendrive
-
How much amperes does your power supply have? And why are you using a bluetooth dongle when the Pi 3 has bluetooth builtin?
-
@Rascas I have the official 0.5 A raspberry power supply
My controller doesn't pair without it:(
-
@DuckSalmon The offiicial power supply has 2.5A. If yours have only 0.5, that's the problem.
-
@Rascas
Sorry it has 2.5A
I read input instead of output -
If it really is the official power supply, that shouldn't be the problem. Normal Kodi doesn't have automount, only kodi-standalone. Either launch kodi-standalone in terminal or mount your drive manually and see if it works.

@Rascas
Thanks
Now after a quick format my USB works
Cannot understand the reason but i'm happy that now works:)
