N64 arcade controls not working.

So I usually use InputAutoConfig or a file similar to that to do my configurations to make the n64 controls work. However when I do ls it does not pop up as one that I can edit and I can not find it anywhere and cannot get my controls to work in any n64 games or in Kodi. They work in the emulationstation and that is it.

I may be misunderstanding you, but that file is located at
/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/n64/InputAutoCfg.ini...and cannot get my controls to work in any n64 games or in Kodi
Have you tried everything documented in:

and
https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/KODI#joypad-support -
@mediamogul I tried that and the page was blank it did work for me until recently and when I do ls it doesn't show it

If the file no longer exists, try uninstalling and reinstalling through the RetroPie Setup Script to restore it.

It could be that your arcade controls aren't directly supported. What exactly are you using and have you been able to get other controls to work?
