i have tried to scrape my games in emulations station and it works but when i quit emulation station, shutdown, or reboot, all the data is gone. now i have tried using the scraper outside of emulation station and that doesn't work ether. now i have looked online and haven't found a clear answer to this. now i store my roms on and external hdd not on the sd card. emulation stations detects and runs the roms fine. im thinking that because i have the roms stored on the external hdd it only temp saves the info until i restart it. would i need to edit directories related to the scraper so it detects is correctly and save the info?

also i have found that when i press f4 i get these messages

      Error messages received:
