      Using a USB keyboard I can pull up the retroarch menu but then I cannot select anything in there. Tried the key mapped to the A button but nothing happen. Seen somewhere I can changed how my keyboard is detected or the "driver" used for it to fix a similar problem but can't find that post anymore.

      Can someone help ?

      Thanks !!

        I'm having the same issue. I hit my hotkey to bring up the Retroarch menu in-game but after that the only thing that responds is up and down on the joystick to go up and down the main menu but I can't select anything or even exit the menu. Oddly enough, however, simply hitting start (which I have bound to ENTER) exits the game altogether without pressing select with it. I even manually bound the menu buttons "ok" and "cancel" to "a" and "b" in retroarch.cfg and they still doesn't respond.

        I just had this working fine on my Pi a week ago but I did a fresh install yesterday so maybe there's a glitch in the latest release of Retropie that causes an issue with the Retroarch menu.

          @TheOnlyJonto

          It is working fine with a wired xbox 360 controller so it really has something to do with my usb keyboard.

            @Nataq the default "a" button on the keyboard is the "x" key. Have you tried that key?
