RetroPie with OpenVPN?
-
Hello,
I have my first RetroPie build going. So far I have kodi and moonlight installed, but don't have an emulation station link to moonlight, I have to open from command line.I have another fresh pi that I'd like to do the following with:
Install RetroPie, Kodi, Moonlight
Install OpenVPNWhat I'd like to accomplish:
Have emulation station GUI for Moonlight. (I have seen guides for this, just need to do it.)Have OpenVPN installed for remote gaming from my Steam account. Would be nice o have the VPN start when Moonlight is opened, but a link in emulation station GUI would work too.
Can you guys help me get this accomplished? I'm not an expert, but have 1 RetroPie box, and an OpenVPN server installed to access my security camera's remotely without them touching the web.
Thanks!

I can't tell you how to do it, but retropie is not an OS. So any Raspbian tutorial should work. The Retropie images are just retropie installed on top of Raspbian.

@BuZz Thanks, I didnt realize that.
I discovered TriPi so for the next pi build I will be using that rather than doing all individually like I did with my current RetroPie box.
The VPN into home network to access steam games remotely works as a user in this thread got it working: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/issues/1082 Unfortunately I cant seem to send him a message on GitHub.
