Hi, i got a Raspberry Pi zero with retropie. Snes and nes games run perfectly, n64 and psx run but dont play well. The problem im having is that my "console" isnt running GBA games. I tried 7 different games (5 of which are pokemon games) and it doesnt work. Ok so i click on the gba game, it shows the window that says press A to configure. Then the screen goes black and goes back to the screen of the list of gba games. I downloaded the roms from the same place i downloaded the working nes and snes roms. Can someone help? I got a pi zero v1.3 w/camera slot, 16gb micro sd, and a case that has a heatsink (if that matters).

Did you check the documentation ? https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/game-boy-advance - I suspect you are missing the bios.
