      Hello everyone,

      Pi Model: 2
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.1
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
      USB Devices connected: F310
      Controller used: F310
      Error messages received: None
      Guide used: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Logitech-controllers
Emulator: Issue is the same on all emulators
      Attachment of config files: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/1bb0e3bff41bd197983e9194698ac715

I just performed a fresh install of retropie and am having an issue with the F310. The controller is in X input mode, however start+select does not exit any game with the default config. Ideally I would like the middle logitech button + start (or select, doesn't matter) be the hot key toggle. So I took a look at the wiki (https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Logitech-controllers) and tried setting the hotkey button to 10. Still, nothing works. I tried rebooting the pi multiple times and have tried deleting the es_settings.cfg file and the Logitech...cfg file (then recreated using the mappings listed in the wiki) and still the issue persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I resolved the issue by doing the following:

RetroPie -> RetroArch -> Settings -> Input -> Input Hotkey Binds

Then I bound "enable hotkeys" to the Logitech button and "quit retroarch" to the start button.

Make sure to save your configs before exiting retroarch. After that everything works.
