I just set up retropie on a raspberry pi 3 b and i'm having a few issues.
I'm using it to emulate the n64 on the mupen64plus emulator and i'm using n64 usb controllers as input. Halfway through some games of mario party a controller will stop registering input forcing us to restart the system. Unplugging and reconnecting the controller anytime results in loss of input as well forcing a restart.
I'm also running into freezing issues. The frame rate is fine (minus a few mini games) but sometimes randomly the game will freeze up forcing a restart. The board isn't overclocked and has two heatsinks.
Not sure where to go from here but it makes the games unplayable because we have a 50/50 chance of needing to restart in the middle of the game.
