      Hi there,

i reinstalled retropie because of some bugs in my old installation from scratch (v4.1) and upated to the latest version already.

Now I noticed that save states are not working and I can't get them to work.
Its simply nothing hapening and no yellow text is showing up (saved to slot 0...etc.)
      Loading also does nothing.

Normally it was the right shoulder button and select.
Shoulder button and B on the otehr does a reset so the binding itself should be okay.
Even F2, F4 on keyboard does nothing.

I checked some configs by eye but couldn't find something interesting.

I also copied retroarch.cfg (all and emulator specific) and joypad.cfg from my old backup where it was working and its still the same (I now already replaced it with the original again, so don't worry).

Now I came to the end and don't know what to do .

Is it a bug or something right now?
As I am a casual fun player i liked that feature a lot and I need it back strongly :))

By the way we're talking of lr-snes2010 right now as I decided to setup one by one. But haven't tried the other emulators.
Now while I'm writing it might be a good idea to check this out ....

      However..
      Hints welcome!

      Kind regards,
      PhantombrainM

Sorry I figured it our right now!

So I'm answering my topic by myself.

I switched from xbox driver to xpad and had configured trigger as buttons in cmdline.txt for dreamcast.

In that situation it was right trigger select which i used for a year.
Now its indeed the shoulder button I didn't tried the last 12 hours facepalm

        regards,
        PhantombrainM

@PhantombrainM Could you please mark your topic as solved. It prevents people getting here to try to help an already solved problem. ;-)

@meleu note that topics can only be marked as solved if asked as question. The topic can be switched to a question by the original poster i think.

There are some issues with the q and a plugin currently so it's not forced on.

@PhantombrainM Putting [solved] in the title should get the same effect.

Hm. Dont know how to close it or mark it as solved.
Put the [solved] thing in the title but its not doing anything I guess.

                Regards

best way is on topic tools change to ask as question, then you can mark as solved (I have done this)
