.trd files not working with Fuse
-
I love the old spectrum games and I've recently been getting into the Spectrum demo scene. My GCW Zero with USP and my Shield also with USP run the .trd files with no issues. I can't seem to get them to work with either Recalbox or Retropie. The wiki says Fuse is compatible with the .trd format, but I haven't got any to work. After a bit of searching, I saw some info stating that fuse_libretro requires extra roms to emulate TR-DOS machines. For example, the Pentagon requires 128p-0.rom 128p-1.rom and trdos.rom. Does this mean we need to add these to get the .trd files to work? There is no mention of any need for these roms, but I thought this might have been overlooked. If we do need these files, would they go in with the other bios files for the other emulators?
There is also the very probable possibility that it's just me and I'm just doing something stupid! ;O)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@bunman Yes, you do need those extra ROMs. You have to put them in the Bios folder inside a fuse folder. Note that lr-fuse is very outdated (v1.1) and TRDOS files don't autoboot. The standard Fuse version is v1.3 and autoboots these files but you have to put the extra bios files inside the emulators directory.

:O) !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many thanks for the info, I thought it might be that. Getting the system roms proved to be a bit of a sod. First ones kept giving me 'drive errors', but I came across a fuse package on Aminet and got the correct system roms from there. Watching 'Weed' right now... looks brilliant running on the big screen. Thanks very much.
