      Hello, new to retropie...
      I followed a guide to set up the pie initially, and enabled overscan since I thought there were black bars around the screen (plasma tv). Unfortunately, the image is now cut off at the edges...even after going back and checking disable and enable settings.

      This probably is silly situation, but what is the solution?

      Thx
      Chris

        I've manually with the overscan values (in the terminal), but this seems to only affect boot, splash screen and terminal. Once the emulation station starts, the edges are still cut off.

        Please Advise

          @krull You need to post more information about what you changed exactly and where. Also the guide - which one?

          Are you editing /boot/config.txt?

          Have you tried disable_overscan=1?

          Have you read this: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Video-Issues?

          and this: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first?

            Sorry....I was manually editing in the /boot/config.txt. I also installed on top of Noobs. Also, I believe when I first had the emulation station running, it filled the screen right. It wasn't until I starting tinkering, that it was cropped. However, the boot and splash screens were fixed.

            Thx

              @krull set
              overscan_scale=1

              this would be easier if you pasted your config.txt for us to see :)
