USB Rom Service not disabled
-
Hi there
I bought my first Raspberry Pi 3 last week, thanks to all the guides and tutorials on github and the Retropie Forum I was able to configure Retropie and Kodi without further hazzle. Thanks :)
I successfully managed to configure Retropie to run roms from an usb drive (at least that's what I think) by following this tutorial: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Running-ROMs-from-a-USB-drive
I transferred my roms from my PC to the USB drive and then connected it to the raspberry, and it detected all the roms without any problem. However, it still keeps transferring the roms to the raspberry SD card as it was doing it before. Now I don't know if it is actually running the games from the SD card or from the USB drive. I disabled the "USB Rom Service" in Retropie config several times, but it keeps copying the roms to the SD card.
Could it be any bug?
Thank you -
@gasto what version of retropie are you running?

Thanks for the answer, I'm using Retropie 4.1.

In case it helps, this is what my fstab looks like:

Sorry, I think it's working just fine.
It's just that I thought that because I could access Retropie roms folder via LAN and see all the roms, that meant that they were on the SD card, but what I was actually doing was accesing the USB drive roms folder.
Sorry!
