Maybe you should just stick to the knitting... like most things it will / should eventually click. It's all well and good randomly typing commands and changing config files... but if you don't know what they are actually doing then you are no better off. In fact you are worse off because when that goes wrong... etc. You get the point, I'm sure. As for knitting... I just can't do it. All skills must be learned.

Uh whats the problem?

@glennlake well as you can see he isn't posting to get help as this is in the gaming and discussion section. He is just posting to voice his frustrations of not being able to tame the raspberry pi beast.

@herb_fargus Understood. We've all been there, but most of us work thru it with help from our friends. :-)

@glennlake some people just like to complain instead of finding solutions to their problems that are readily available on the wiki ;)
-
@herb_fargus It's a shame what people miss out on by being so negative.
-
@glennlake @herb_fargus surprisingly, this is the only thing I don't complain about in my life...

Everything is on the Wikipage or YouTube. To be honest I had to change only 5 things into the config to run RetroPie as I wanted.
