      When I tried to download the newest version of retropie, the download wouldn't complete and would give me the error Network Failed. I haven't found anything about this, so I think the file might me corrupt. Does anyone have any suggestions?

              @gameboychild13 If you are using Windows OS and an antivirus running it may be causing your download to say it has failed. The extension .gz looks like a bad file. Try turning off any antivirus and download again. I hope this works. :-)

                I don't know why but some people in some countries just have issues downloading...

                Could also be your antivirus like @glennlake mentioned.
